Michael’s impressive comeback and project

Willing Able are backing this telling and Michael Dvinge fully up. However; A hard marketing telling. Far from influencers’ happy-go-lucky. Likes and Followers. We hope that You will support this Michael case with honest attention.

Meet Michael, behind the cycling project Tour de Jutland, which was created with one big vision: to inspire and motivate people with disabilities to participate in cycling actively. Through this project, Michael wanted to show that boundaries can be pushed and that community and commitment can create space for everyone on the roads – regardless of physical challenges.

Michael’s journey has not been without bumps in the road. In 2017, he was hit head-on during a bike ride on a quiet morning – an accident that changed his life up side down. After the accident, he had to learn to live with a brain injury and the dependence on a wheelchair. Despite the challenges now facing, he have refused to give up to his love for cycling. Today Michael rides a 3-wheeled recumbent bike, allowing him to continue challenging myself on country roads.

For a cyclist with a disability, being part of a regular cycling club can be difficult. He missed both the camaraderie that comes with training in the club and the community around cycling. Tour de Jutland therefore became Michael’s way of bringing it back – an initiative to create a community where cyclists with and without disabilities can cycle side by side. Last year a group cycled from Flensburg to Skagen in a project that was initially about proving that Michael could still push his limits. And still be in a social environment.

But Tour de Jutland was more than a personal victory – it became a journey to overcome challenges and an opportunity to inspire others with disabilities to challenge themselves and dare to go on adventures. Michael experienced how much such a trip could mean, both to him and to everyone who participated. It emphasised how important it is to have someone to share your passion with and be a part of something bigger.

The positive response the project received from participants, spectators and media last year showed how much the project has to offer. It gave Michael the motivation to do it again – even bigger and even better.

This year the Tour de Jutland went along the West Coast, where a group cycled 306 km from Hvide Sande to Slette Strand, this time only spread over 4 days. The route offered both short and long stages, so that everyone, regardless of level, could join in and share this experience. Once again, the Tour de Jutland was not just a physical challenge; it was an opportunity to inspire, feel the community and share a passion that knows no boundaries.

Tour de Jutland and cycling gives Michael a joy in life that he cannot do without. Therefore, he will continue to challenge himself and inspire and show others that despite challenges it is possible to chase your dreams – and Michael is already looking forward to next year’s adventure.
